People make sense.
Including you. Including the person you can't figure out.
Once you can see the pattern, you have choices you didn't have before.
Personal Work
Maybe you've been working on this for years. Maybe you woke up one day and realized something isn't right. Either way, the problem probably isn't what you think it is. And it probably isn't you.
Explore Personal Work →Professional Work
You have capable people doing demanding work. The work matters, and so do the people carrying it. Give them the communication, leadership, and understanding that keep good work going.
Bring This to Your Team →Different rooms. Same thing underneath.
In your life
- You replay conversations at night, rewriting what you said.
- You agreed to something yesterday that you resented by this morning.
- You can feel yourself disappearing into a relationship, and you keep choosing it anyway.
- You achieved the things. You're still waiting for the feeling that was supposed to come with them.
- You know exactly what you'd tell a friend in your situation. You just can't take the advice.
At work
- You promoted them because they were great at the work. Now they're leading the people doing it, with almost no training for that part.
- The meeting ends, and the real meeting starts in the parking lot.
- You have a team that works well together, and it took real work to get there. Someone new starts Monday.
- There's a person everyone has quietly learned to work around, and it's costing more than anyone says out loud.
- Nothing is broken. You want to build something worth staying for.
We start with understanding
You've read the books. Your team has done the trainings. You can probably name the thing that keeps happening, in detail, which is somehow the most frustrating part, because naming it from the outside hasn't changed it.
When something keeps happening, it's usually accomplishing something. That's why advice bounces off, and why trying harder tends to produce the same thing at higher volume. So we start with what's actually going on and why it makes sense. Then the tools work, because they're finally aimed at the right thing.
The behavior is real. It just isn't the whole story.
Meet Candace
I spend half my week with people one at a time, and the other half inside the companies they work for. It's the same work, and once you can see how a person is built, the hard parts stop being mysterious.
More about me →The moment we're after
"Everything makes sense now. I know what to do. And I feel capable of doing it."
Lisa, private client
Not a new personality to build. Not a system to keep up. Just a clear view of what's actually happening, and what to do with it.
Start here
You don't have to know what's wrong and you don't have to know where to start.
Some people come because things hurt. Some come because things are good and they'd like them better. Both are the right reason.
Tell me a little, and we'll figure out the rest together.
